Talia Joy Castellano, the bubbly year-old beauty blogger, passed away today after a six year battle with cancer. I've seen hundreds of posts from beauty bloggers over the years, but Castellano, with over , subscribers on her YouTube channel, was a bona fide original. She fought both neuroblastoma and preleukemia and lost her hair to chemotherapy treatments, but she turned to makeup as a joyful antidote. She coined the phrase "Makeup is my wig" and would post pictures and videos of her bold eye-shadow creations, many of which earned upwards of a million views each. Talia has touched our CoverGirl family forever, and we're thankful to have been a part of her life.

It causes tumours in the spinal cord, abdomen, chest and adrenal glands. Ellen Degeneres invited Castellano on to her show last year after noticing her impressive YouTube following.
